A bit of background, these comics pick up after “Fright Night II” in 1988, with Charlie Brewster and Peter Vincent becoming full time monster hunters. A continuing antagonist is Evil Ed, freshly back from the dead.
“Lifeforce” written by Dan O'Bannon (Return of the Living Dead, Dead and Buried, Alien) and Directed by Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist)
An alien ship is discovered in the tail of Haley’s Comet. The Anglo-American shuttle crew finds the dessicated remains of bat-like aliens and three humanoids in suspended animation. The creatures are brought back to Earth where they escape and begin feeding off the life force of the human population of Britain. Not only do these creatures drain a victim of their life energy, the victims become zombies that must feed likewise to sustain themselves!
One of the bat-like psychic vampire aliens from the movie “Lifeforce” in its true form. It was stabbed in the chest with an iron sword and reverted back to its real appearance before dying.

“Dracula 2000” may have been a bad movie, but it had a great soundtrack. Including this song which is probably one of the best songs about vampirism ever recorded.

It is a fantastic horror comic about two misfits, a werewolf and a vampire, as they try to find a place to belong in the world. Most of the real monsters in the book are humans that a intolerant of anything different or just sadist and cruel.
Its a good read and I highly recommend it if you can find it.
