Just in time for Christmas, a young woman, played by Mary Woronov, relates the story of a young man who comes to a town run by a bunch of old weirdos to claim his inheritance, the Butler Mansion.The Mansion was home to a even bigger weirdo named Wilfred Butler who turned it into an insane asylum and imprisoned his daughter in it until the inmates revolted and murdered the doctors and staff on Christmas eve.
The mayor and the town council want to make the young man an offer on the mansion so they can buy it and tear it down. But, they begin to receive menacing phone calls from someone who calls himself “Marianne”. The treats soon become real as someone begins to brutally murder all parties involved with an ax.
This is a perfect treat for any time of the year, but nothing says Christmas classic like ax murders and incest! Merry Fucking Christmas!
“The Slayer” (1982)
An almost forgotten horror classic from the early 80s. An abstract artist that receives her inspiration from dreams begins to have terrible nightmares of a shadowy creature. Her doctor husband, her brother and her sister-in-law decide to go on vacation to a secluded mansion on an island off the coast of Georgia. A sudden storm strands them there. Something else is there with them, killing them one by one. Is it some human killer?
Or is it the nightmare creature… The Slayer…
