Thierry Jaradin was a lonely 24-year-old Belgian truck driver who had taken special interest in a 15-year-old girl named Alisson. One day, Alisson had dropped by his house to exchange some videotapes and have a chat. Eventually, he tried to make sexual advances on Alisson, but she rejected them. Thierry excused himself for a few moments and stepped into another room where his Scream costume awaited, accompanied by two large kitchen knives. Garbed in the eerie black tunic and ghoulish mask, he approached Alisson from behind, clamped a hand over her mouth, and stabbed her up to thirty times, so much that her left side was completely torn apart. Afterward, he set her blood-soaked corpse on the bed, slipped a rose in her hand, and called his father to confess. He disclosed to police that the murder was indeed premeditated, and he was heavily inspired by the movie Scream.
