According to Cincinnati Enquirer, the move to dissolve the local police department comes three months after two former village clerks were convicted of embezzlement.

GRAPHIC: Debunking The ‘War On Police’

Conservative politicians and commentators are claiming that a recent spate of cop killings means police officers are being “hunted” thanks to the rhetoric of the Black Lives Matter movement, which criticizes racist policing. One cop even faked his own shooting amid the hubbub, triggering a city-wide manhunt. But despite the fearmongering headlines, the historical trend shows otherwise.

Guns aren’t the problem. It’s criminals, irresponsible people, and totalitarian shitheads getting a hold of them that’s the problem.

The origins of police in nearly every country has always been connected to violently suppressing workers and slaves, so where the fuck is this ‘decline’ narrative coming from?

For further reading see:  David Whitehouse | Origins of the Police

Black people cannot rely on the police to protect them from criminals. This is evidenced every time police murder an innocent Black person. My message to the statist left is this: asking the Black community to disarm themselves and look to the police for protection instead is the essence of white privilege.

Disturbing pool video exposes the reality of how police treat black people in America

Galling video footage has captured a police officer in McKinney, Texas, rounding up a group of black teenagers, using excessive force on them and pulling a weapon on bystanders after an “incident” was reported at a local pool. The initial call came in as a disturbance but bystanders revealed the real racist reason police were summoned.

This is too much.

Kevin Allen, a 36 year old black man, has been shot and killed inside a library. A library of all places. What would it take for everyone to see that the cops are actually coming for black people?

He was described as a quiet man who frequented the library and liked to watch videos and listen to music at the computer stations. He was shot around 1:35 PM and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

How are the racists gonna justify this? Black people getting killed shouldn’t ever be some commonplace occurrence we should just have to accept. This is an epidemic. This can’t be the world we live in.

Cops would kill black people for buying (allegedly stealing) cigarettes, wearing a hood, jaywalking, being in a library, playing with a toy, sleeping, the list goes on and on.

It’s as if white people just want black people to stop existing.

I knew there was evil in the world, but I would’ve never imagined anything like this explosion of racism since August 9th could ever be possible again. And the sheer fact that white people are not only ignoring and disregarding this genocide, but they’d even go to great lengths to justify it.

How does it feel, looking for reasons to justify murder? Aiyana Jones was only seven. Tamir Rice, only twelve.

Racism is far from over. Kevin Allen, along with the thousands of innocent black people killed in less than one year, never deserved to be forgotten.

This is unjustifiable.

this happened in my county. lyndhurst is one of those super white towns too, 80% white population. the whole county, give or take a few towns, is like this. i grew up with racism getting spouted at me regularly. local cops are violent as fuck and regularly bully the shit out of residents of color (including minors) but bc we’re a majority white county no one gives a shit bc its not happening to them.
