Among one of the things left from Tesla are his notes where he wrote about his dreams and the ability to control them ( he told that he was fully aware when he was dreaming, thus making him experience new life in his dreams). That phenomenon is called lucid dreaming today. He is not the only one experienced those kinds of dreams though, some familiar names as James Cameron, Salvador Dali, Christopher Nolan, Einstein, Stephen King are also known for their lucid dreams.

On July 10th, 1856, Nikola Tesla was born at midnight during a lightning storm. The midwife thought the violent storm was a bad omen and declared he would be a child of darkness, to which his mother replied, “No. He will be a child of light.” Source

Well he did try to build  a death ray so they were both kinda right.

Edison made that shit up about the death ray just to slander Tesla’s name. It was Tesla who was utilizing safe, nonlethal direct electrical current (that he proved time and time again with his own two hands) while Edison used AC current that was lethal enough to kill an elephant. So, um. Yeah. Tesla is indeed a child of light.

Not only was it lethal enough to kill an elephant, he DID kill an Elephant with it. They even recorded it, the Elephants name was Topsy.
