Cat in the Brain, the 1990 effort from Italian horror legend Lucio Fulci (Zombie, The Beyond), will receive a three-disc Blu-ray edition on July 12 via Grindhouse Releasing. It will also be touring independent theaters across the country beginning June 2.
In addition to the standard Blu-ray release, a collector’s edition limited to 3,000 copies will also be available. It includes a glow-in-the-dark slipcover and an original portrait of Fulci created especially for this release.
The uncensored director’s cut of the film has been restored in high definition. It includes both the English and original Italian language soundtracks. A bonus CD of Fabio Frizzi’s soundtrack is also included.
