My stoner roommate left town and is not supposed to be back until Friday. Its fun to have the place all to myself. I can’t wait to get my own place.
A DVD came in the mail to day. I got “Godzilla vs Biollante”. I have not seen that film since I had it on VHS when I was a kid. It was fun seeing it again.
With the douche out of town and the place to myself, I only left the apartment to walk down the street to buy a pack of candy. I cooked for myself since I need to stop eating out so much. I have only cooked for myself twice since I started my current job. I am allowed as much free food as I want as long as none of it leaves the building. Most of it sucks but at least it is free.
Another good thing about finding an apartment of my very own is that I can set up a bench and start lifting weights again.
Right now I am watching “The Crow” again. I saw it for the first time earlier this year and I can’t believe that I went that long without seeing it. It has become one of my all time favorite films. I must have seen it 50 times already. The scene at the end when Eric looks up and sees Shelly walking toward him in white, and he smiles, it always brings a tear to my eye. I avoided it because I saw “The Crow: City of Angels” first and it kind of put me off of it. Another example of a bad sequel killing a series.
