The state is far more than the organisation of an administration aimed at achieving ‘harmony’ in society, as they say in the universities. It is an organisation that was gradually developed and perfected over the course of three centuries in order to maintain the rights acquired by certain classes to profit from the work of the labouring masses; to extend those rights and create new ones, leading to the increased servitude of the citizens, dispossessed through legislation, to groups of individuals lavished with favours by the government hierarchy.
