Australian crocodile wins battle against a bull shark
A crocodile was caught crushing a bull shark to death in Australia on Tuesday. The 80-year-old croc, named Brutus, is a legendary reptile in Australia. He weighs in at 2 tons and stretches 18 feet long. His land-and-sea battle stunned onlookers, as he eventually pushed the fish out of the water and onto a river bank, where he delivered the coup de grâce. (Source)

Scientists in the US have discovered a terrifying land-living crocodile, which lived in what is now North Carolina 230 million years ago.
The crocodile, called Carnufex carolinensis, which literally means the Carolina butcher, was a very early member of the crocodile family, but unlike its modern ancestors it was not aquatic, nor a quadruped but prowled around on two legs.
