Radio Blue Heart presents TALES FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN!

Episode 49: Carnival of Souls!

An eerie film that influenced such filmmakers as George A. Romero and David Lynch!

After her car falls off the side of a bridge during a drag race, Mary emerges from the river seemingly unharmed and with no memory of how she survived. After she recovers she seems to be stalked by a white faced specter, and she is drawn to an old run down carnival. Mary is slowly drawn into a nightmare world between the living and the dead. Did she really survive the crash?

Once again this film is PUBLIC DOMAIN and not copyright protected in the US at least. You can make and sell your own DVD of it, download it, show it for free or for profit. Or remix it or use it for stock footage

The Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled up the waterspout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dryed up all the rain
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the spout again

Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled in from the sun
Crept into the crib, bound the baby bun
Baby kept to crying till mama’s work was done
And the Istsy Bitsy Spider crawled back out in the sun

Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled into mama’s bed
Crawled up on her hubby and bit him in the head
Mamma lay there sleepin’ while hubby laid there dead
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled out of mama’s bed

Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled into mama’s shoe
Mama was forlorn, didn’t know what to do
She tried to go for help but her foot was turning blue
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled out of mama’s shoe

So the Itsy Bitsy Spider crawled up the waterspout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the spout again

Creepshow (Main Titles) by John Harrison

“Jolting tales of horror!”

Try listening to this on a stormy night…

I found this in the parking lot of my apartment last night. The first shot is from my balcony upon discovering it. Being as dark and creepy as it seems, and the fact that I could not keep my hands still while taking these pictures makes this really ominous.

Its only with the flash on and holding the camera completely still do you see that its just a plastic skull in a flower pot.

But someone drilled holes in it and left it there to be found. That is a little unsettling on its own…

“No, but…yeah but…Whoa, so this is radio land, huh…the infinite turnover? The waves through the ether fuzz roll on forever. ROAR! Can’t close that. Hi, I know what you’re thinking. This is weird. Hope I can handle it!”

“He dented my plate! My brain is burning! ‘Nam flashback! 'Nam flashback! Leatherface, you bitch hog! Look what you did to my Sonny Bono wig-do. Oh, goddamn I can’t believe it. You’re gonna have to buy me a new plate cover! You gonna have to buy me a new plate cover, Leatherface!”

Bill Moseley’s introduction as Chop Top from “Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2”.

“Screams of a Winter Night”

1979 anthology film about a group of college friends that go for a holiday at a cabin called “Coyote Lake” because of its constant howling winds. The lake has a colorful past and it supposedly cursed. It is hear that they decide to share scary stories.

Very creepy.

I read an article on tumblr on mysterious radio broadcasts that are bouncing around in the ether long after their broadcasters have ceased to exist. It is kind of creepy. The imagination runs wild. Even if it is some transmitter that is running long after it had been forgotten and abandoned.

Some say that it is contact with spies Some say that it is a transmission from people who don’t know they are dead. Or just maybe it comes from people stranded in another dimension.

No matter what it is. The Buzzer keeps on going…

The clown doll from “Ghosthouse”. Also known as “La Casa 3”. Its creepy song and message.
