Radio Blue Heart presents TALES FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN!
Episode 69: Creature! (aka The Titan Find!)
On the surface it seems like a simple rip-off of “Alien” and “The Thing”, but this film stands on its own as a pretty good low budget creature feature.
In the future, two competing corporations, one American and one German, are exploring the solar system to find mineral resources. On Saturn’s moon of Titan, they find the ancient remnants of an alien laboratory. The beings who created it thousands of years ago did so to make it a menagerie of alien lifeforms from all over the galaxy. And one of the lifeforms is now alive, awake and very hungry! The beast begins to kill the crew and control their corpses by attaching parasites to them. Now, fear and paranoid run high.
This film was directed by William Malone, the director of the “House on Haunted Hill” re-make, and stars eccentric German actor Klaus Kinski. It also features Wendy Schaal, voice of Francine on “American Dad”.
Once again this film is PUBLIC DOMAIN and not copyright protected in the US at least. You can make and sell your own DVD of it, download it, show it for free or for profit. Or remix it or use it for stock footage

August 15th was my birthday, but I forgot to post this picture from the day I was born!
I was such a precocious little scam when I escaped from the delivery room!
It took 3 days and 16 state troopers to recapture me.
PROJECT: METALBEAST
One of my all time favorite werewolf movies!!!
Why no DVD release for this low budget classic?!
“They wanted a soldier as hard as steel… They created a creature that could not be destroyed!”
Buried deep in the vaults of the CIA’s laboratories, sealed in a frozen cryonic chamber is a secret that’s been dying to be reborn for over 20 years.
With the discovery that government agents have perfected a way to create living “metal” skin, warped scientist Pete Miller seizes his chance to reactivate a forgotten experiment that died with his partner years before…
Now he has the perfect test patient waiting on ice… But this is no ordinary corpse, it’s a beast immortalized by three silver bullets!
“The Slayer” (1982)
An almost forgotten horror classic from the early 80s. An abstract artist that receives her inspiration from dreams begins to have terrible nightmares of a shadowy creature. Her doctor husband, her brother and her sister-in-law decide to go on vacation to a secluded mansion on an island off the coast of Georgia. A sudden storm strands them there. Something else is there with them, killing them one by one. Is it some human killer?
Or is it the nightmare creature… The Slayer…
Hauntingly beautiful score by Robert Folk from the 1982 horror film “The Slayer”.
“It did terrible things! And the more I dreamed it, the more real it became! I’ve created it! And I’ll keep on doing it until it no longer needs me to give it life!”
The Irish werewolf is different from the Teutonic or European werewolf, as it is really not a “monster” at all. Unlike its continental cousins, this shapeshifter is the guardian and protector of children, wounded men and lost persons. According to some ancient sources, the Irish werewolves were even recruited by kings in time of war. Known in their native land as the faoladh or conroicht, their predatory behaviour is typical of the common wolf, not beneath the occasional nocturnal raid
i need stories about this one
There is also the Scottish cousin to the creature, the Wulver.

These creatures inhabit the Shetland islands and have no human form. He spends his days fishing and is not hostile to humans unless he is attacked. He even gives some of his catch to families in need.
