Firstly: 50+ Yay! Thank you everyone, especially those who’ve been with me since the beginning, I’ll be sure to give something for special for you all! Because in all honesty… I thought I’d never get even this far.
Now onto the Art itself, it’s actually my first foray into architectural art, and boy was it harder than the actual monsters themselves! :D.
It’s also one of my first forays into artistic scale, where I made someone bigger for symbolism than literal terms (because I’m used to that).
Two sought after comics since this character just exploded on the scene because of Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel vs Capcom recently.
And can you believe I found both of them in a 50 cent box at my local comic book shop?
I was mostly interested in Rocket Raccoon #1 here because it is the first professional comic work by none other than Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy.
I found a new book. I read it at the library but I had to get a copy for my own. It is called “Holy Shi*t! The World’s Weirdest Comic Books” by Paul Gravett and Peter Stanbury. It is some of the funniest shit I have ever read. I must track down some of these comics and read them! Some are funny because they are propaganda comics, some are horribly racist and sexist, some are out of touch with reality and most are just strange!
One of the best one is a comic that teaches kids how to identify someone as a communist and report them to the FBI!
I wish there was a companion book that reprinted these comics in their entirety. I actually ordered off amazon for about $20. I won’t say which one tho! you will have to guess! I will never admit to it.

It is a fantastic horror comic about two misfits, a werewolf and a vampire, as they try to find a place to belong in the world. Most of the real monsters in the book are humans that a intolerant of anything different or just sadist and cruel.
Its a good read and I highly recommend it if you can find it.
