Radio Blue Heart presents TALES FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN!
Episode 66: The Dover Boys (at Pimento University)!
Directed by Chuck Jones
I don’t usually do cartoons here on TALES, but due to the sudden upseurge in popularity of this cartoon here on Tumblr, I thought it would be good to do an episode for it.
Because, indeed, this cartoon is PUBLIC DOMAIN! No copyright or anything so you can do whatever you want with it.
It is one of only a few Warner Bros. cartoons to enter the public doamin accidentally. I say accidentally because there is a list of 11 cartoons that was allowed to lapse because they were so racist.

Episode 54: The Story of Menstruation!
Another classic cartoon from the Disney Vaults that makes “Snow White” look like a pile of puke!
In animation, it tells the story of how a woman’s reproductive system awakens and makes her life a living hell once a month.
Just wait until menopause and then your body will betray you in all new ways!
Once again this film is PUBLIC DOMAIN and not copyright protected in the US at least. You can make and sell your own DVD of it, download it, show it for free or for profit. Or remix it or use it for stock footage

Episode 53 VD Attack Plan!
Straight from the Disney Vaults! Fuck Pinocchio! This is the true classic of Disney animation!
An animated film that explains who different types of sexually transmitted diseases spread and what they do to you.
One of my favorite episodes of “Nu, Pogodi!” Which roughly translates from Russian as “Well, just you wait!”
This is sort of the Russian version of “Tom and Jerry” or “Coyote and Roadrunner”. It follows Volk (Wolf) in his attempts to capture Zayats (Hare). This one is called “New Years Celebration”. Volk pursues Zayats across the ski slopes and through a part.
This always makes me wonder about Cold War politics. How evil could the Russians have been, according to our politicians. They make cartoons for God’s sake!
“Wolf and Calf”
A stop-motion animated film from the Soviet Union. Directed by M. Kamenetsky.
A wolf raises a calf for food. A bear, a vixen and a boar want to eat him too!
He just wanted some fucking pants!
I DARE you to watch this and not laugh!
Guaranteed to make you smile!
Well I aim to prove him wrong! It’s going to take more than a few deadly, deadly bees to… OH LORD! AAAAAAAAAAAGH!

Last words of the previous Planer Express ship captain, “Futurama”
This is a My Little Pony animatic (test animation) set to the song “Come Little Children” and starring Princess Luna.
Even though this is not the finished work, it is incredibly beautiful. I found it when Equestria Daily named it one of the best pony videos of 2012. I am inclined to agree. Luna whisks away three orphans in something reminiscent of Yeats’s poem “The Stolen Child”.
This blog is mostly so I can vent my feelings and share my interests. Other than that, I am nothing special.
If you don't like Left Wing political thought and philosophy, all things related to horror, the supernatural, the grotesque, guns or the strange, then get the fuck out. I just warned you.
