My school’s financial aid office is literally telling us to stop eating lunch so we can pay for our education.
I’m just going to call lunch “second breakfast”, lunch costs $5 but according to this school, second breakfast doesn’t cost anything….FREE MONEY FOR ALL!!!!
also, in what universe do books and supplies for the year only cost $1300???!!!
Not if your goal was to dominate an entire region by whatever means necessary, commit industrial scale murder, destabilize a people, strip them of their natural resources, fleece the American working class with xenophobic warmongering, and make shit tons of money for a few rich white guys and American corporations…
Because that’s been an enormous success.

Everyone, listen to me for a few minutes. Denmark isn’t a Socialist state. Denmark isn’t even Social Democratic. It’s correct that Denmark got more welfare and social security than for example US, and that the general population in Denmark is better of than the general population in many other countries - but please don’t kid yourself into thinking that Denmark and/or other Scandinavian countries are Socialist. Only few people here would call themselves Socialists, neither government nor opposition have Socialist visions, and we’re also going through financials crisis’s with cut downs on welfare. lower taxes, growing inequality, etc. It’s true that Denmark got higher levels of social security and equality than many other countries do - and I am grateful to live in a country where I can go to hospitals for free and have access to free education, etc - but Denmark is fundamentally Capitalist and the vast majority have no intentions of changing that. I think this will get obvious during the next years where Denmark will go through even more cut downs and the slow demolition of our welfare system - it’s actually already happening.
