Decided to try something different than my normal style, since I’m having some art block. ^^; A Star Jackal looking over the Earth and Ancestors, dancing among the flowers and wishes thought to be unheard.

Figure of a Jackal
This solid cast bronze statuette could represent either of the gods Anubis or Wepwawet, both of whom could be depicted as a jackal-headed man. It is in a walking pose with really good detailing on the face and kilt. The left arm is missing from just above the elbow.
Late Period, 26th Dynasty, ca. 664-525 BC. Now in the World Museum, National Museums Liverpool. 56.5.88
