Me: I'm not sure how you can disagree with me on gun control as I've always been very ambivalent about it. I can see where sensible gun control measures could save many lives, especially those of children (who I don't think should be allowed to own guns, at least until they are old enough to drive and have passed some kind of gun safety course). On the other hand, the constitution gives every citizen the right to own fire arms. And with the militarization of the police and ever increasing number of laws, many people are right to want guns for their own protection against criminals and the government. So, while i think they should be kept away from children, I don't support the idea of getting rid of guns.
