Father’s Day
Its this day that I think back on my relationship with my father.
I think the best wisdom he ever imparted on me was when I was about 10 or 11 years old. I was sitting on the couch read some comics and he sat down next to me and said,
“Son… You are ugly, stupid and useless, and no one will ever love you."
And you know, he was right.
Some time after that he had to get surgery for a hernia. Before they wheeled him away to the operating room I said,
"Be strong, dad! And if you die, I hope they take it easy on you in Hell!”
