April 30, 1975: Great Spring Victory in Vietnam

Saigon falls to the National Liberation Front, securing the final liberation of South Vietnam and the country’s reunification. The last imperialist troops and their lackeys flee as the NLF seizes the U.S. Embassy. Saigon is renamed Ho Chi Minh City.
