This is an absolutely horrible reason to drop the case, she is a minor and MANY child abuse victims don’t know they’re victims until much later in life. As long as there is evidence the law was broken (which there was) it’s insane to claim Gaetz innocence based on this.
I’m not surprised though, US government officials never get punished
