Children in elementary school will often say the words wrong, such as "I pledge of allegiance" or "one nation, under God, invisible".
This shows that they're expected to recite something without even knowing what it means.
THIS is indoctrination.
And those who constantly whine about schools indoctrinating children are somehow okay with that.
It's clearly not indoctrination that bothers them.
[Image Description: tweet by Kyle Kallgren is Always Antifascist, @ KyleKallgren. It says "Hot Take: The Pledge of Allegiance is creepy and weird and if you're really passionate about it you are also creepy and weird." End I.D.]
No lie, the German exchange students in high school were horrified by the pledge
every time i've met an immigrant regardless of their origin country they are absolutely FREAKED TF OUT whenever i tell them the pledge and then recite it by memory
US are nothing short of a fascist empire
