Do you wonder how our concept of what is scary and evil changes as we get older? How things that scared you as a child seem quaint now? When I was a kid, the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang seemed scary. But, could you image in if he came up against something really scary? If he chased a kid around a corner and came face to face with Leatherface? Chainsaws are more fearsome than butterfly nets.

Lol I agree entirely. The evil witch from the “HugaBunch Gang” movie used to scare me as a kid as well as the various oddieties in Faire Tale Theater.
