Ok, this one is a bit of a cheat but I do not know if I am going to have time to watch a movie today so I am counting this as my Day 31 of 61 Days of Horror film as I just finished watching 2022′s X.

I rather enjoyed it as a new entry into Texas horror (being set outside of Houston) and another intriguing film from Ti West, who’s 2009 film The House of the Devil is a personal favorite of mine.  I have friend who have issues with it and its depiction of the sexuality of the elderly but I still enjoyed it and I have a feeling the context added by the recently released prequel, Pearl, will make it all make even more sense.

So, that’s on my to watch list for this month now as well.
