Heartland of Darkness will be released on Blu-ray on November 8 via Visual Vengeance. The abandoned 1989 horror film has never been released on any format.
Scream queen Linnea Quigley stars with Nick Baldasare, Dino Tripodis, Shanna Thomas, Sharon Klopfenstein, and John Dunleavy. Eric Swelstad writes and directs. It’s also known as Blood Church and Fallen Angels.
The limited edition set comes with a slipcover, Linnea Quigley mini-poster, prayer cloth, VHS-inspired stickers, and booklet featuring liner notes by Weng’s Chop’s Tony Strauss.
Heartland of Darkness has been newly mastered in standard definition from original tape and 16mm film elements, approved by Swelstad. Special features are listed below, where you can also watch the new trailer.
