whew. so sometimes food alerts and recalls involve undeclared ingredients right? as in, ingredients that are not listed on the package. these are often allergens like wheat, peanuts, soy, milk.

well right now, officials at the FDA are down on their knees…bee’s knees, if you will,

because of honey-based products that contain some undeclared ingredients. you are not going to believe this one folks. take a second and think about, what the fuck are these companies possibly adding to honey?

these products are sold under names like “x rated honey for men” and “royal honey for him” and “royal honey for her” and “vital honey” with some claiming to increase sexual function. it was not the honey. it was the drugs they were laced with, which consumers had no way to know they were taking.

tadalafil and sildenafil are prescription drugs that increase circulation. they are sold under multiple names and are effective for conditions pertaining to circulation problems. viagra was originally a heart medication, fun fact!

definitely an unusual FDA warning, but still one that needs to be taken seriously. many health supplements contain dangerous undeclared drug ingredients which can cause illness, injury, and death.
