literally how many times do people have to be taught this. it’s the same it’s been since fucking 2020. we have known since even the alpha wave that people can be reinfected with covid, we’ve known since summer 2020 at the very least that the virus is spread through aerosol droplets, so maintaining distance and wearing a mask are better preventative measures than solely washing hands or disinfecting surfaces (though these things are also imperative, they arent the primary method of exposure). 

it’s just that nobody cares. nobody cares about vulnerable people or protecting the people around them or theyd still be masked. people wouldnt be fighting tooth and nail to be active detriments to the health of their communities if they understood and cared about others. anybody arguing that masking is a “personal preference” is telling me that they would “prefer” i continue to be invisible and have my health risked any time i have to go outside
