We just saw this in a little local theater yesterday! If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a feature length surreal stop motion film, extremely gruesome, created by the same artist who designed many of the creature effects for the original Star Wars trilogy and more!
He actually began work on it thirty years ago when he was working on Jurassic Park. He shelved it because he thought audiences didn’t want stop motion anymore. So it’s technically been “in production” for most of my life and longer than most of you have existed.
Not recommended for people who are squeamish about basically anything you can be squeamish about, but it’s technically incredible and the story you can unravel through its visuals is a fascinating one.
