The Bat (1959) dir. Crane Wilbur
The Bat was released as a double feature with The Mummy in 1959. Vincent Price later shared that the play upon which it was based had terrified him as a child. He had accepted the role because he hoped the film would “revive it” but was ultimately disappointed by the script. The film is in the public domain, and has become a campy-horror classic.
