The supposedly “tolerant” Dem Party and other centrist neoliberals are outright stating their “acceptance” of LGBTQ people is entirely dependent on our respect for and submission to the bourgeoisie state and law enforcement as the legitimacy of both break down in the face of heightened contradictions of capitalism. It’s a breach in the status quo that has persisted for almost 2-3 decades that can and should be filled by the same revolutionary socialist organizing that formed the basis of our community and rights in the first place.
