anti-communists need to lie like this, because if people know the truth, the anti-communist argument falls apart. anti-communists will paint communists as bloodthirsty tyrants, while celebrating the actual bloodthirsty tyrants that communism overthrew, mourning their being brought to justice, lying to paint them as innocent saints.
