Tennessee lawmaker suggests burning banned books

The Republican-led Tennessee state House passed a bill that would require public school librarians to submit to the state a list of book titles for approval, as a GOP lawmaker suggested burning those books that are deemed inappropriate.

Republicans: It’s very offensive when the Left calls us Nazis!

We’re nothing like the Nazis, honest!

Also Republicans: We should gather together to burn books that have to do with race, gender and sexuality
