What the article actually says:
You see how they protected that officer who tried to kill his wife before killing himself? They used neutral language to say that the officer was killed without indicating how and the wife was shot as if her husband died protecting her.
Police are given this blanket benefit of the doubt and verbal protection of their integrity.

The article headline was changed too but they edited it as soon as it was called out and were ratio’d.
