Cis WoC are going to be so heavily targeted by this law.

This is something that has already been happening for decades - using anti-trans legislation to enforce invasive procedures on intersex women and WoC because it’s an easy way to sidestep around their racism. Their bullshit about protecting women by excluding trans women means they get to decide how to prove a woman is “real.” And the people who are going to be affected by this are overwhelmingly women of color, trans OR cis.

I don’t have the spoons to break down the history of Black women in sports being banned because of the hyper-masculinization racists force onto them, or the science behind how estrogen breaks down bone density and muscle mass of trans women and changes their ability to perform at previous levels, but people on here have. If anyone can link those posts, I’d appreciate it.

Looking at this, at the expression on these women’s faces as they pose children in their photo, makes me sick to my stomach. I’m so terrified of what this is going to do to people. The mask is off and the door is open, and trans people are not safe. Protect each other.
