When I was homeless a while back, I had the cops called on me for dumb shit. One of which, which is absolutely crazy, was when someone gave me money (that I didn’t ask for, he just saw me and asked if I needed anything. I said I was okay and he gave me money for food). They accused me of asking for money and threatened to arrest me for loitering or some shit when I was at a public park when they pulled up. I had to leave with nowhere else to go. I just went to the other park a half mile away lol. But I wouldn’t bother anyone and would mind my own business only for cops to show up saying they got a call. One cop was cool and basically said “fuck the caller” bought me food and told me about possible options. The rest were asshats ready to take me to jail for *checks notes* being alive and not living in a house?
