Seriously, what the fuck is up with the south? They don't want to teach kids any parts of history regarding black people, they want teachers to give "opposing views" when discussing the Holocaust, and now they want to ban all discussion of the LGBT+ community.
I know it's not all of you living there, but fucking hell. If you're black, jewish, or LGBT+, get the hell outta there. They want to deny your entire existence.

The last one is part of a bill they're currently trying to pass in Florida. A school administrator in Texas was recorded instructing his staff to present "opposing viewpoints" to the Holocaust (the school's superintendent later apologized publicly about it). And I think everyone knows by now how Texas schools want to leave out parts of American history concerning slavery and civil rights.
Believe me--I would much rather be mistaken.

That's literally ONE freak incident. Compare it to how many progressive people hate Israel and how the memory-holed the recent Texas synagogue attack.
Schools in Texas aren't leaving parts of history out, they fighting against teaching CRT which preaches that all white people are inherently evil, very different things.

Yeah, Texas passed Bill 3979. There is no "context"--It is 100% all in there. It prohibits teaching parts of American history dealing with slavery, and wants teachers to present "opposing viewpoints" if they do discuss "controversial" material. It is an actual fucking BILL. One of TWO, actually.
Also, CRT isn't even fucking taught in grade school. It NEVER WAS.
