Radio Blue Heart is on the air!

A reminder to listen to Orson Welles as Dracula on the Mercury Theater radio play, with Agnes Moorhead as Mina! There are changes made, but it’s very much in the spirit of the book, and oh that voice…

When I was a kid, I got a set of Golden Age Radio Horror and Science Fiction cassettes for Christmas.  I was SUPER excited because it included the original 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast (I was obsessed with that story in about 5th grade) but the first tape was the Mercury Theater Dracula and it was the second one i listened to.  Oh my God, I fell in love with Dracula right then and there thanks to Orson Welles’ amazing performance.

These tapes are long since gone but I still remember what they looked like.
