October 12: David Schmoeller’s Puppet Master came out 25 years ago today.
Originally intended for a theatrical release, producer/co-writer Charles Band decided a direct-to-video release would be more profitable. It hit shelves on October 12, 1989 and has spawned ten sequels and counting from Full Moon Features.
Getting legitimately upset that I didn’t watch Puppet Master on the 25th anniversary of Puppet Master.
