literally If you have this mindset just do local volunteer work at like a soup kitchen or something instead of working at a fucking Wendy’s
the thing is, this woman is not concerned about the hungry or poor. the main problem that occupies her thoughts is “there arent as many waiters in this restaurant as there used to be” or “they are understaffed at burger king and it took 2 minutes longer than normal to get my whopper”. shed never work at a soup kitchen because the problems shes trying to solve are all problems of consumerism. she is mad because she cant consume with the same freedom and voracity as she used to
