Here we see a slender reed frog [Hyperolius poweri], singing his heart out for the ladies in Kendu Bay, Kenya. These frogs inhabit shrubland, grassland, and savannah, and take advantage of the annual flooding of their habitat in order to breed. The slender reed frog is just one species of the Hyperoliidae genus, which encompasses 145 named species. All of them inhabit Sub-Saharan Africa. Images by Martin Pickersgill.
