Inspired by the amazing aesthetics and atmosphere of “The lighthouse”, the upcoming movie by Robert Eggers. My version of the story, where one of the men turn out to have a very dark secret. He tried to isolate himself from the world, but not everything went as he planned…
Lighthouses, especially the old ones, always stimulate my imagination. There is something unusual and disturbing in loneliness on the edge of two worlds, in the lonely guarding of light and fighting with forces of nature. I always wanted to live in some old lighthouse by the shore of the ocean, who knows, maybe someday :)
