It’s been said for decades that Atwood is a quintessential white feminist- her (trauma porn) magnum opus is just “what if the dehumanization & denial of bodily autonomy that historically happened to black people, happened to white women??”. I’d honestly put bets on her openly buying into white nationalist rhetoric in the next 5 years.
