My second favorite Tobe Hooper film after TCM is "Lifeforce". A lot of critics and especially youtubers think its trendy to trash that film, but if you see Tobe Hooper's director's cut/international cut, it is actually a remarkable film. Tobe wanted to make a "70mm Hammer film" and that is what he did. Any fan of Tobe Hooper or Hammer Films should check it out.
i havent ventured into the tobe hooper universe yet, besides poltergeist and tcm but! the film you recommended seems really interesting!! consider it added to the watchlist 😉
