this is particularly poignant after hearing Jen Psaki (the white house press correspondent) describe the current deadlock caused by Manchin and Sinema (who represent a tiny fraction of the US population) over the Burn spending bill as “democracy working.” well Jen, if this really is democracy at work, I think I’ll take Chinese “”“authoritarianism”“” 😂
