i don’t know how to explain it but bargaining with your oppressor isn’t a good idea

a cis person who goes “normal trans people are okay, I just don’t like the freaks” is not your friend — their definition of “normal” WILL get smaller and more specific and their definition of “freak” WILL expand

repeating their text about “normal trans people” and “freaks” will only bring you temporary benefit! throwing other trans people under the bus will only bring you temporary cis approval points!

transphobic cis people are not your friends! appealing to them will not make them your allies! they’ll use you as a shield to be transphobic but they won’t like you and they won’t care about you!

I don’t know how to explain it but transphobes are not to be bargained with. in the end you will only lose and you will lose inevitably.
