Rick Flag being willing to expose America and the Thinkers crimes in Corto Maltese went a long way toward me liking him a whole lot more in this movie than in the last one where he only seemed to care because the woman he was having sex with was in danger

Oh, absolutely. In the first movie I honestly didn’t care about Rick at all. In this one I actually really liked him

The movie did a much better job I think of showing the Squad actually caring about each other and bonding and making us care for them
