Progress shots just because this was fun to work on! Lichen Lycans was an idea that crossed my mind while working on June, but they don’t fit well into the rest of the lore so I just made them their own separate thing. The lichen would function similarly to parasitic fungi combined with the rage virus from 28 Days Later or the plague of madness from Primal. The lichen takes over the hosts body and keeps the werewolf functionally alive long enough to continue spreading spores.
Also their name is Alfred cause, ya know, Freddie fungus and Alice algae took a lichen to each other :)
