New podcast! Third in our four-part podcast miniseries about the May 18 uprising in Gwangju, South Korea, in 1980 is out now. We speak with Kim Yong Ho, David Dolinger and Jeon Yong Ho, who took part in the events, as well as researcher Kap Su Seol.
This time we look at May 22-27, when divisions emerge within the uprising, and the forces of repression retake the city. We also examine US involvement and discuss why the events are so little-known.
