Guyana: Cult of the Damned will be released on Blu-ray on August 24 via Code Red in conjunction with Kino Lorber. The 1979 Mexican-American exploitation film is based on the Jonestown massacre.
Also known as Guyana: Crime of the Century, the movie is directed by René Cardona Jr. (Tintorera: Killer Shark), who co-wrote the script with Carlos Valdemar (Cemetery of Terror). Stuart Whitman, Gene Barry, John Ireland, Jennifer Ashley, Bradford Dillman, and Joseph Cotten star.
