Now I'm just your good ol' common garden straight person, who is well aware Pride month is not for me or about me. But I'm also aware that there's increasing hostility towards LGBTQIA+ folks, not only in my country, but many others too, especially for those of you who are Trans. Trans folks are going through it right now, and you folks don't deserve any of that. I want to take the time to say this publicly, that this is a safe and supportive space, and I know I'm not always going to get things right, and I'm open to gentle correction when I'm wrong because I want to make this as safe a space it can be.
