Glurpo the World’s Only Underwater Clown used to perform at the Aquarena Springs park in San Marcos, Texas (about 30 miles South of Austin, where I live). Aquarena Springs was also where much of the 1978 film Piranha was filmed. The park was closed down in 1994, taken over by the nearby Texas State University. While parts of it were converted to a Water Conservation Center, other parts remain rotting away.
