On this day, 27 April 1981, nine white supremacists from the US and Canada were arrested as they prepared a boat full of weapons, bedecked with a Nazi flag, to try to invade Dominica. The racists, including Ku Klux Klan members and the later founder of neo-Nazi website Stormfront, planned to establish a white dictatorship in the 99% non-white nation, and trade with apartheid South Africa. They were each jailed for just three years.
